Peyton Pawlik joined Ms. Coffey in December 2015. Ms. Pawlik practices primarily in the areas of medical malpractice defense and medical board consultation. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina state courts and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association.
Ms. Pawlik graduated cum laude from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Legal Studies in 2011. During her final year at ASU, Ms. Pawlik completed an honors thesis on domestic violence and intimate partner homicide and graduated with High Honors in the Department of Government and Justice Studies.
Ms. Pawlik obtained her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 2015. While in law school, she was a member of the Campbell Law Mock Trial Team and received the Order of Old Kivett Award for excellence in advocacy. During her 3L year, Ms. Pawlik had the opportunity to participate in the Baylor Academy of the Advocate in St. Andrews, Scotland, where she was named the top-ranking program advocate. She also served as a project coordinator for the Campbell Pro Bono Council.
